It fascinates me when entrepreneurs put down their competitors or their colleagues.
As if it will somehow make them look better.
It makes you look worse.
It makes you look like a hater.
A judging-find the negative-don't have anything nice to say-hater.
I, personally, don't want to hear what you hate about someone else.
I don't want to hear what you didn't like about them or their coaching or their presentation.
I want to hear what you liked. What was useful. What mattered.
You don't have to like everything about everyone.
But find what you do like and talk about that.
Nobody wants to hear you criticizing and complaining.
Nobody wants to hear your hate.
It takes more effort to find something to like.
Make that effort.
