Coach Marketing is by a coach for coaches. So come on!
Marketing can be creepy. For many years I avoided studying it because I thought it was all swindle and trickery.
But, this past year I redefined marketing for myself: letting people know I can help. This change put me on the course of spending a year learning from all the best online and offline marketers I could find.
I learned a ton. Much of what I learned did not resonate, either because it didn’t apply to coaches or because it was slimy. I edited all that out. But I did learn some “awesome,” and that is the material I have taken and changed so it is coach specific to teach in this class.
I took many in-depth marketing courses, read many books, and applied everything that was relevant to coaches. Here is a list of the people I took classes from:
Dan Kennedy
Laura Roeder
Marie Forleo
Frank Kern
Joe Polish
Dean Jackson
Brendon Burchard
Eben Pagan
Naomi Dunford
Fabienne Fredrickson
Dan Sullivan
Ash Ambirge
Andy Jenkins
Danielle LaPorte
I also read and studied countless books and ebooks that I share/recommend throughout the course.
This is a class by a coach for coaches. This class is designed for both new coaches and seasoned coaches who are all ready “set up” and ready to start attracting clients.
I have set the course up to be taken in six weeks, but you are welcome to pace it any way you would like. Some of you will want to move more slowly and others will blast through the work. It is an online video course that only requires a computer and online access. There are many supplemental/bonus classes for beginners.
Each class (there are six) has a homework assignment that includes ten simplified action steps. Once you have completed these steps and turned them into us by email, we give you access to the next class. This class is designed to be active and participatory. It is my hope that by the end of it - you won’t just know more, you will be doing more.
The classes are filled with only the best content. Each class has a video of me teaching the 10 best steps and concepts for the topic. The videos are designed to be watched multiple times and applied to your business as you go. Each class also includes a homework assignment that is directly emailed to us.
Class topics include:
1. The Five Stages of Building a Coaching Practice
2. How to Find Some Clients Who Want Your Help
3. How to Let Clients Know You Can Help (without being creepy)
4. Having Something Amazing to Sell (hint: it’s not you or coaching)
5. Inviting People to Buy from You (your clients will want to pay for awesome)
6. Rocking their Socks (over-deliver or don’t bother)
My gift as a teacher is taking complicated topics and concepts and making them easy. That is what I have done here.
I’m a coach who has built my practice from scratch and helped many of my students do the same. Our industry is booming for those who know how to get clients, and very unkind to those coaches who don’t. This is heartbreaking, not only because many very talented coaches are leaving the profession, but also because there are many more people who need our help. I get emails everyday from women who are needlessly suffering and need coaching.
If you are anything like I was, you are intimidated and confused by the marketing of your coaching practice and the balance between making money and helping people.
This class is how I reconcile both. Join me.
Enrollment is offered four times a year.
UPDATED: Next class will be in May 2013. Tuition is $297
