“What’s better than donuts?”

One day I was sitting alone inhaling donuts. I’d had a really bad day and was stress eating. I was up to my 3rd or 4th donut… the big ones… and I was starting to feel sick.

Something made me ask myself the question “what’s better than donuts?”

My answer was “nothing.”

I was gutted, to be honest. Is this really all there was?

I’d given up on losing weight and with it, I realized I’d given up on life too. Food had become the highlight and I was just eating my way through my days.

I was at my heaviest weight and at my lowest point.

And in that moment I decided enough was enough. I wanted more for myself and more for my life. I didn’t know how I was going to do it but I knew I owed it to myself to figure it out.

And figure it out I did. I lost over 100 pounds at the age of 50.

And in the process I created the Fifty Over Fifty Weight Loss Program™, helping women over fifty lose over fifty pounds.
