Repel on Purpose
If no one is repelled by you. You are boring.
Sorry. That’s just true.
If you want to stand out-you need to stand for something.
Lady Gaga. Oprah. Howard Stern. Obama.
They all have haters and they all have rabid fans.
The best way to repel the wrong people is to be who you are without apology.
Here’s who I want to repel:
People who don’t like laughter.
People who are offended easily.
People who criticize freely.
People who just want to take and not give to the world.
I want them to go away. I don’t want to sell them on why laughing so hard you have to bend over is a good and very professional thing to do.
My people already know that.
And there are plenty of us.
Who do you want to repel?
