We Can Do Hard Things
I make no secret of it.
It’s easy to teach an easy class.
But when no one is challenged or asked to do anything, they don’t learn anything.
They don’t grow.
They don’t learn how to deal with adversity.
They don’t learn how to manage their mind.
I have taken so many classes where the instructor asked nothing of the students and nothing of herself.
Of course I could do that too.
But what I would rather do is challenge them.
Have them doubt themselves and their ability.
Have them say, ” I can’t do this.”
And then show them that they can.
That’s my job.
We are so much more capable than we give ourselves credit for.
It’s not easy. It’s not supposed to be.
We are capable. We are strong.
We can do hard things.
