What I Said 10 Years from Now
My new friend (Jan): I just saw your school featured again on the internet. How do you do that?
My future self (Brooke): We do that by running a badass school.
Jan: I know, but seriously, how are you guys able to graduate so many amazing coaches?
Brooke: About 10 years ago I decided that I was going to create a school that was focused on the students and how to make them successful. And then I did it.
Jan: I know, but how did you do it?
Brooke: I just kept asking myself what I could do to make my student's experience awesome. I asked myself what I could do to teach them what I know in a way that would entertain them, challenge them, and help them make their impact in the world. The more I asked this question, the better the answers got.
Jan: What made you think you could do something so big?
Seriously. It is what we teach. But it's also how I live. I want my life to be an example of what's possible. I want to demonstrate and teach my students that they can truly have whatever it is they want in this life. I want them to know and see that it's not just a cliche.
Jan: If you could go back 10 years and tell yourself something what would you say?
Brooke: You can do this. It's already done. It's not about you. It's not even about your students. It's about the hundreds of clients they will help. Keep steppin.
